A newborn photoshoot is a beautiful way to celebrate the arrival of a new member in the family and capture the joy, love, and excitement that they bring into your life.

Capture the little details while they're so tiny. I love nothing more than meeting the newest editions of your family and capturing all the tiny details.

Newborns grow and change incredibly fast. A photoshoot allows you to capture those precious early days that you can look back on fondly in the future.

The photos from a newborn photoshoot can be used to create keepsakes such as photo albums, frames, or birth announcements.

These can be cherished for years to come or given as gifts to family and friends. My newborn sessions provide the perfect chance to unwind and take in these precious, fleeting moments.

The answers to your questions
When should I schedule my newborn photo session?
You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date and from there I can schedule a tentative booking. I only take a limited number of bookings per month so your estimated due date will be placed in the calendar. Then once your baby is born, it’s advisable to contact me a day or two after so that we can schedule a suitable time and date for your photoshoot.

Where does the photoshoot take place?
Your newborn session will take place in my brand new studio in Castlegregory.
How long will the baby session take?
Newborn photography is very specialised and can take between 2 to 4 hours. It is baby led so there’ll be time for soothing, feeding, precise posing. Please reserve 4 hours for your session in case your little one is sensitive to handling and needs more time to settle between poses. Photoshoots are best done while baby is less than two weeks old as babies are the most sleepy, flexible, and easily moved during this time.

How do I prepare for my newborn photography session?
I have a separate set of guidelines which I’ll send on once your session is booked in.
Do you take family or sibling photographs?
Yes, I take individual pictures of parents with their baby followed by a family photo if there are any siblings. Please let me know in advance when planning your session.
Can I set up a payment plan?
Absolutely. Having a new baby does make life a little bit more expensive! I don’t want anyone to miss out on getting newborn photos and they can only be done in a very short space of time as babies grow so fast, so I offer a payment plan to help with your budget. These can be paid weekly or monthly. Let’s have a chat and see what we can organise!
When will we receive our photos?
Photos are delivered via an online private password protected gallery through my website. Usually photos are delivered within two weeks of completed photoshoot.
